BROADWAY LIMITED IMPORTS: 8952 Canadian National Business Car

Founded by George Pullman in the late 1860s, the Pullman Company emerged as the epitome of the passenger train industry during the Golden Age of rail travel spanning the first half of the 20th century. Renowned for its luxurious passenger cars, particularly its sleeping cars, Pullman became synonymous with comfort and elegance in rail travel.

Typically positioned as the rear of a passenger train, these cars featured windows or a platform at the rear for passengers to enjoy the view. Beginning in the 1950s, American railroads widely phased out these cars as a cost-saving measure, eliminating the necessity to "turn" trains when departing from stub-end terminals.
